The Mildenhall Fen Tigers proudly sponsored by Manchetts Rescue and Recovery look forward to welcoming supporters to the Fenman bar this Saturday evening for their annual 'Meet the Riders' event.
All eight 2019 Fen Tigers will be present along with the new management consortium and new Team Manager, Malcolm Vasey. The evening will be hosted by Kevin Moore who will share announcing duties this coming season with Craig Saul following Stephen Foster stepping down due to his many commitments outside of speedway.
Season tickets will be available to purchase or collect during the evening and the club hope to have news about their Press and Practice day and their opening fixture against ‘Poultec’. Doors will open at 6pm with the Fish and Chip shop open between 6 and 8pm.
Speaking on behalf of the consortium Lee Chipchase said “We are looking forward to seeing everyone and hosting an informative and enjoyable evening ahead of the season, nearly everything is in place now and we cannot wait to get started. This is a great chance for supporters to meet and speak to riders and the management and we will be available to chat during the evening. We would like to thank Stephen Foster for all his hard work not only announcing at meetings but for the continued support of the club through Radio Suffolk, it is very important to us to get our message out and Stephen plays a very big part in helping us do that. We have, we feel, in Kevin and Craig found two excellent replacements. Both are extremely knowledgeable and professional with a real passion for the sport and will only help enhance the Mildenhall speedway experience”
