Bikes roar again as practice and press launch take centre stage
The weathermen like to point out that once March opens it’s metrological Spring, but of course for British Speedway fans the greater significance of it now being March is that it’s the month when the bikes, dormant over the long winter, can start to roar again.
And that’s exactly what they shall be doing at West Row on the weekend of the 19th.and 20th with the Mildenhall Fen Tigers, proudly sponsored by Manchetts Rescue and Recovery, warming up for their defence of the National Development League [NDL] with two days of practice and the official unveiling of the 2022 side to the press and public.

This is on Saturday 19th. March and is open to any rider - non-Mildenhall Fen Tigers’ riders must book in advance preferably by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. The practice session on Saturday is between 10.30am and 4.00pm and the charge for the day for non-Mildenhall team members is £45 per rider.
Please ensure you leave your full name and email address when booking by either email or ‘phone. There are limited spaces so riders wishing to attend, please book early. This is not open to spectators.
Press and Practice Day – Sunday 20th. March
Members of the media are warmly invited to our Press & Practice Day, the official launch of the Fen Tigers’ season from 10.00am on Sunday 20th. – with opportunities for interviews with the riders and photographs (individual and team) before the 2022 squad then take to track for a club only practice session.
Supporters are welcome at the Press & Practice event free of charge on the Sunday – those spectating need to must enter via the turnstiles. Pease note there is no entry via the back gate for supporters.

“It’s great that our riders have these two days to shake off the cobwebs and get machines and bodies ready for the new season – which begins early in April. Before that there’s time for us all to socialise at our ‘Meet The Riders’ event this coming Saturday night (5th. March at 7pm).”
