Fen Tigers

Lion Cubs

The Mildenhall Fen Tigers, proudly sponsored by Manchetts Rescue and Recovery, have completed their line up for 2022 with the return of two riders who represented the club in 2021.

Highly popular racer Jason Edwards returns for his third season with the club after increasing his average to 8.84 last season. Edwards will form a formidable partnership at the top of the team with Ryan Kinsley and will be chasing the No. 1 race jacket if his late season form continues into the coming season. A full 18 point maximum at home to Berwick followed by paid 12 at Kent and paid 17 at Armadale as the Fen Tigers won the League Championship saw the Essex based racer end his campaign in some style! One of the best organised young riders in the sport, it is great news for the club that we are able Jason welcome back for another year.

The line up is completed by 34 year old Luke Muff. Muff came into the Fen Tigers side after an injury to Aaron Butcher at the start of the 2021 season. His keenness to succeed transferred onto the track as he scored some important points for the team before being replaced when Nathan Ablitt became available after the demise of Eastbourne. Somewhat unlucky as he was doing all that the club asked of him, he has earned a second chance at Mildenhall and we are confident that he can pick up where he left off and improve his 3.00 starting average as the season unfolds.

The Mildenhall Fen Tigers will line up (in alphabetical order) Sam Bebee, Jason Edwards, Elliot Kelly, Ryan Kinsley, Luke Muff, Alex Spooner, Josh Warren.
