As we build up to the return of Speedway at Mildenhall for the first time since September 2019 we felt now was the right time to start to inform you of how the club will operate under the current covid restrictions.

We will be issuing information over the coming days and we hope to cover all areas and any questions you may have. We are acting on current Government, Local Authorities and Speedway Authorities guidance and recommendations but our message is clear, please help us, help you to be able enjoy your speedway at Mildenhall in a safe manner.

This first message will concentrate on entry to the stadium and will be followed by a message concerning inside the stadium, the pit area and general matters. All messages cover the meetings up to and including Sunday 20th June and will be reviewed after this meeting in line with expected Government updates due on the 21st June.

CAR PARKING

Car parking will as always be free, but on arrival you will be met by a car park supervisor who will guide you to the parking area. Please follow his direction. There will be two car park assistants who will help park you. At present we will be operating a one metre gap between cars.

ENTERING THE STADIUM

Gates opening time will revert back to 1.30pm for the start of the season.

Prices will remain as 2019...

Adults £13.00

Concessions (Over 60 & students) £11.00

Juniors (15 and under) Free with a paying adult

We have decided against online ticketing due to the potentially considerable costs to the club and our wish not to pass on any costs involved to our supporters.

We will be operating two seperate entrance gates one will take card payments (we are working on this and will advise if it is not available for the opening meeting) and one for cash. If using the cash gate can we please ask you to bring the correct money wherever possible to minimise handing of money by yourselves and the gate attendants.

Please adhere to social distancing of a minimum of one metre when queuing to enter via the turnstiles. We will do our best to minimise the time queuing for you.

Programmes will remain at £2.00 and once again please where possible have the correct money for the programme sellers. Programme sellers will be situated immediately in front of you when you enter the stadium. We will be numbering programmes this season and the lucky number winner each week will receive free entrance to the next meeting.

PLEASE NOTE: Face coverings are MANDATORY inside the stadium for everyone 12 years and over except for those who are exempt on medical grounds.

ENTRY VIA THE PIT GATE

Entry via the pit gate will be severely restricted this season. There will be a member of the management at the top of the road controlling parking behind the pits which will be limited due to a large area being taken up as the visiting teams pit area.

Those not on the rider/guest list will be asked to park in the main car park and enter through the turnstiles at the front of the stadium.

There will be access for disabled supporters and we will continue to take your payment at the back gate. We do please ask your patience as there may be some delay entering the stadium at certain times. On entry you will be guided by a member of staff into the stands.
